Job Responsibilities:

• Perform market research and analysis to identify PC use cases enhanced by the capabilities of 5G vs Wi-Fi and LTE
• Study existing & planned HP services to identify opportunities for enhancement thru ubiquitous 5G connectivity
• Work closely with product planning teams
• Support business development engagements with tier 1 wireless telcos in US, Europe & Asia
• Evaluate and develop partnerships with other connectivity providers
• Execute market research projects and gather intelligence on current industry, technology, and end user trends
• Our intern will gain significant exposure to the telecom & PC industry models and a more detailed understanding of the connectivity aspects.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or chemistry
• Strong foundation in chemistry and physics
• Career interest in experimental research
• Working familiarity with computer-controlled instruments
• Experience working in a laboratory setting
• Detail oriented with good mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with Excel
• Able to do physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
